After seeing this I decided to bug our resident metal guru Swagman to build me something similar. I just got the fitting back from him and boy has he delivered. Sorry for the blurry pics, I'm not much of a photographer  Posted Image Picture of the fittingPosted Image Swagman does incredible work, look at those welds!Posted Image The metal compression sleeves are removed and replaced by a couple o-ringsPosted Image Assembled fittingPosted Image A sanke fermenter is born!I'm a pretty happy homebrewer right now. I have to give a million thanks to Swagman, his abilities are remarkable, but his willingness to help others and his genuine attitude is truly inspirational. I've said it before but it's worth repeating, I love this brew community here in Kansas! everybody

Far out. Any trouble cleaning that thing?I think blktre mentioned to me before that he has some badass pump that will clean those kegs, but can't remember for sure what it was.

Definitely using a keg washer, because I have it I'm considering switching entirely to sanke fermenters. Also built an adapter that fits the blow-off barb so I can rack with CO2, that's a first for me.

Its an actual transfer pump that was rebuilt. It came out of Boulevard eons ago. I like it, except when i turn it on, the lights in my house dim for a split second :stabby: I might have to have Swag build me one too Lee!

I've been STRONGLY considering acquiring a keg and getting the unit from Brewer's Hardware. I'm not crazy about having the racking tube in place while fermenting (i.e. - Not sanitizing right before racking).
