When I first put the hops on the scale, I was surprised to see it weighted more than I expected. 0.05 oz. Then a couple seconds later, the scale said 0.00 oz. It was too good to be true. Anyway... I used all of my 5 Magnum hop cones from my 2009 harvest.Hopefully there will be no hail storms this year and I can get a few more hops.

Well, that .05 more than I got last year. Actually, I thought they were dead. Either a Cascade of Centennial came back last year. Nice growth for no sun but no cones. Guess I need to mark the calendar and move it in a few months.

Well I can relate. I planted 4 vines this past spring and go about an ounce maybe used in a pale ale for aroma and flavor. Hopefully next year will be better though too. Hope the beer turns out great for you.

Second year was better for me. Am looking forward to a good third year.

same deal here for 2009. I planted two cascade crowns and got just enough to do the end of the boil additions for an APA. I think the plant will really take off this year though barring any crazy weather.
