So I have Kens MLPA bubblin away in primary right now using WLP001. It started with the normal looking tan krausen that I have come to know, but now it has a white foamy krausen on top of the tan one. Never seen that before. Never ceases to amaze me the differences in each batch.

I have three buckets and one better bottle so I rarely get to see the action. It still amazes me every time though.

Hehe, It wouldn't come out very good - sitting in a bright red tub of water in my bathroom tub. Just picture white foam. :)

Yeah, that sounds like White Labs 01. It truly is wild when you see these different strains behave. I know I've mentioned it before, but White Labs Burton Ale creates these giant, pillowy bubbles when it ferments and those bubbles stay on top of the beer even when primary is done or close to done. It's bizarre. Badogg, I hope that beer comes out nicely for you. Cheers.

It smells great coming out of the airlock. Funny thing is that it has been consistently bubbling since last sunday and my bathroom that it is sitting in the tub of is kind of small so I can total get a smell of it whenever I walk in there without having to put my nose up to the airlock - which I end up doing anyways to get a stronger whiff of it. :)I am really looking forward to trying this out, I've been wanting to make something that is lighter on the hops and is a little more refreshing and I think this might be it. I just have to wait for primary to finish up and then keg that bad boy. :)How is that corona clone that you experimented on a couple of weeks ago?
