I'm putting one in a Sanke keg and wondering if you use the rubber washer on the inside and the outside, or just on the outside? Thanks, Al

Thanks, that's what I did. I swear I saw some instructions somewhere that showed no washer on the inside. Maybe I dreamed it.The good news is, I have a brand new brew kettle! I have a friend who has the Sabco Brew Magic as a pilot brewery, and he's letting me use his Sabco false bottom when I need it. So, yesterday, I constructed the dip tube to the ball valve. I also finished my mondo wort chiller. It's 1/2" ID and about 50-60'. :D It must weigh 15-20 pounds. I was able to get the rest of a large roll after our plumber finished and had that much left over.Next, I'm gonna start trying to build a sculpture. I have a welder lined up and a line on some steel that is reasonable. Then it'll be a pump and then I can start using all 3 kegs I got as a system. All in due time, but I'm getting it started.

Nope, you were not dreaming. The Zymico kits provided two o-rings, but only showed one used on the outside. I have mine configured that way and they work fine, and have less "jiggle" to them. I've used both o-rings on some other brand kits, but I've only ever needed one on my sanke kegs. I believe my round cooler has both, but it is out on loan so I can't verify.

Ok, I thought I saw that. I wonder if it matters one way or the other? By not using the one on the inside, I'll have an extra o-ring....When I assembled it without the one on the inside, it did look like there was a void between the SS washer and the wall of the keg. It looked like it might have an area that wouldn't clean well, even though you are boiling it each time.

All that matters is that it seals for your setup. As for cleaning, you boil each time, and even the internals of the valve get to above sanitation temps, so no worries.

Well, I put them both in the first time and left them so, that's where they stay. I'm stoked. I've been doing 5 gal batches for 4 years, and now I can finally do 10 easily.
