Crash team racing > Mario kart.

I have the OG ctr on an emulator of PS1 I also have Mario 64. Recently we added the new (2019?) ctr for the Xbox we also have Mario 8 deluxe on the switch. Ctr is better. The karts handle better and the graphics are better

never played the former.  on the mario kart side only played the OG SNES game and the switch game.

 

not sure how graphics on the PS1 would look better than MK8.  do you just mean you like the aesthetics better?  I could see that.

 

MK8 gameplay I'm not a huge fan of.  sure, it's fun to play a few rounds with the fam but I wouldn't ever sit down and play it by myself.

 

 

 

back in the day I liked virtua racing and the original mario kart.  road rash if you want to call that a racing game.  rock and roll racing for the weirdness and the soundtrack.  in the arcades I used to really like the big line of daytona machines where you could race against real people. later on, GT4 on our old PS2.  I've played some grid on the switch but I'm so bad at it I'm not sure how good it is.  the physics seem better than stuff I'm typically used to but not 100% sure.

Just checking. In terms of how a game looks there is more then just ability to render stuff so I figured it was possible. I miss pixel art games. Like the metal slug games still look beautiful to me.

I think I've only played the snes and n64 versions. So good.
