I downloaded it yesterday via Game Pass, which I signed up for just to try this Indy game.
I played it for about 90 minutes to get a feel for it, and I'm glad I didn't pay $70 to buy it outright. It's pretty cool, and feels very much like the movies but it's not my style of game so far.
It's very linear, reminding me of the Assassin's Creed series. I'm more of an open world guy, but I can enjoy an interactive movie style game if it's good. This one seems to be in a weird place of neither giving enough freedom, nor giving enough hand holding.
I'll play it more, and I may finish it even, but this is a one time game at best

I played it some more over the weekend and my opinion has improved. I was initially treating it like Fallout or Starfield and it fails against those expectations, but I've since relaxed a bit more into the "interactive movie" mode and it's better. For example, combat is ludicrous because I can punch out five or six guys at once on recommended difficulty, but Indy does that sort of stuff in the movies so it's fine once you stop expecting it to work like CoD or Fallout. The Vatican brings more choice than the extremely linear castle part that is the beginning of the game. Plus, I'm much more comfortable with the controls, including what you can or can't do in the game, so I'm no longer frustrated by trying to figure out how to do things that this game just doesn't allow.
Overall it's fun.

Was in the Vatican 5 days ago and couldn't use his whip when he clearly needed it.
Now there's a sentence.
