I've been enjoying a new coleslaw-like salad made with radishes.  Maybe it's closer to that carrot and raisin salad, IDK.

It's julienned radishes

sweetened, dried cranberries ETA: about a third of the qty of radishes

blue cheese salad dressing (I use Marzetti) to lightly coat everything.

It's got a lot going on, and it's probably old-people food.  It's got heat from the radishes, tannins from the cranberries, umami from the blue cheese, plus the cranberries give hits of tannins and sweet together. Altogether it's pretty tasty.

I'd eat that. I'd make my own blue cheese dressing and probably add some thinly sliced green onions.

Wow. I can't even imagine the nasty burps.

If I ever get one of my Minowase Daikons to get to full size, I'm definitely doing this.

Tried doing bacon grease fried Daikon chips. In the immortal word(s) of our commander in chief: "Don't"

I'd eat that. I'd make my own blue cheese dressing and probably add some thinly sliced green onions.

Care to share that recipe sir?

I don’t really have a recipe per se. Take some blue cheese crumbles, or make some, add a blend of mayo, Greek yogurt, sour cream depending on what you have and preferences. A dash each of Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice, bit of salt and pepper, mix up and thin to desired consistency with milk.
