In high school I walked around going from party to party with this album (VINYL!) in my coat.  The opening guitar from Ain't Talkin' Bout Love might be my favorite EVH riff.

This song was the perfect fit in this movie.  This is still one of my favorite all time movies.

I have a fond memory of when my middle brother and I (I was about 12) were in the single cab S-10 and my dad was driving.  We were barreling down the highway and the radio was low, but just audible.  The drum solo at the beginning of Hot for Teacher comes on and dad was .....Aw Fuck, flat tire!, and pulls over.  I just turned up the radio.

Best use of VH in a commercial.

VH is always such a weird topic because I liked them with DLR and just 'accepted' them with Sammy Hagar.  Then DLR comes back to the band and I see them live and they can only play a certain percentage of their material which I just found so bizarre.  I know they had big success with SH so the idea that there are songs in your library that you can't perform live is just weird.  The original VH contained DLR so VH with DLR is the real deal for me, personally.  I have nothing against SH but to insert him into a band I already liked and to see the band move away from what I liked was not great.

DLR version was more raw rock and SH version was smoother with love themes. GC version? I don't know wtf that was.
Loving all things aviation, this song is my favorite. It always seemed to play at the best moments of my life then.I don't hear it much anymore but it's always out there to find.
Scooters!
