Any cancer is bad news, but leukemia in Boston is less bad news than most. The first treatments of leukemia were pioneered less than ten miles from you guys, and Boston is still at the forefront of a lot of cancer research. Here's hoping that your daughter has one of the more treatable types.

APML fortunately the most curable for in adults. She had a second blood transfusion today, and has a lesion on the brain as well. They are not sure if it was caused by the leukemia and infection or other, they are talking a spinal tap to check for MS now. But she's in good spirits and taking it in stride. BIG TIME Prayers coming your way cavman!!! Isaac had ALL T-Cell leukemia. From a little quick reading, it sounds like APML is highly treatable! What kind of symptoms led to discovering that she had this type of leukemia?? Feel free to reach out via PM if you need ANY support or have any fundraisers etc!!

One of my old coworkers had a son that went through this and he came out of it. Keep the faith. All my vibes are going your way. Really wish I could actually do something that could have a direct impact. Fuck.
