Question for you all. How much do you prepare the day before? For the ambrosia salad, I'm thinking it might have more flavor if made the day before?!

 

Absolutely everything that I reasonably can.  I don't think there'd be a problem if an ambrosia salad was made the day before.

Pie crusts are made on Tuesday, pies are made on Wednesday and the Turkey starts brining, potatoes/stuffing/turkey are made the day of Thanksgiving.

We are doing the mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, and apple crisp today, as well as making dough for dinner rolls. That just leaves ham, stuffing, and green beans for tomorrow.

Man the stores have been INSANE. I got most of our stuff last week, but had to pick up a few things Monday.

I was going to add an apple torte, but my wife’s uncle’s husband is sick and the uncle isually makes the gravy. Now I’m on gravy duty and there are two fewer people, so I think I’ll skip the torte.

I forgot to place my probes until the turkey was already on the smoker. Not happy with the placement. Never am really. I can never tell if I’m in the deepest part of the thought or not.
I like pimento cheese. Just not as like it’s own thing.

On a burger it’s incredible
