Yeah, I know i'm behind on "new" brewing gadgets.
Using this now. I really get a kick out of seeing how a brew moves along.
First lager that i've used it on. Not surprised at how long it took to really get started vs a normal ale.

They seemed cool but never worked well for me. Easydens FTW!

The only issue I've got with mine is getting a reading through the stainless steel fermenter. But I've found that if I stand on the first floor directly above the fermenter down in the basement, I can pick up the signal with my phone. One of these days I'm gonna get a Raspberry Pi to log the temp and gravity at regular intervals and then squirt it up to the cloud.

I've only made a lager once (i'm not going to call it a success). At the suggestion of the time, I let it go for two weeks. I didn't sneak gravity reading samples at all.
This was tossed in the chamber less than a week ago and I'd say it's almost done. Man, this is a fun gadget!
I might give it till Thursday, but I don't expect much action between now and then.

I should stop expecting all beers to ferment down to at least 1.011 then huh?

How long is a piece of string?
No clue what you are talking about sensei.
I'm wondering if i might have miscalculated my pre-calibration. Either way, this batch is going into bottles/kegs this weekend. I'll likely brew the same batch this weekend, but this weekend I have all of my water additives. I'll compare this one to the next one to see how much of a difference those additions make.

it's similar in that it's a question that can't be answered. I guess a likely range could be provided. 1.001-1.016 I'm not sure of the origin of the "How long is a piece of string?" question.

if you google the question for the "answer" that is the answer that is suggested. it might be a common response.
