I've never really been a portable gamer. We have a switch and it's pretty much permanently docked. I like using a large display.

The switch is getting long in the teeth
I like handhelds

seems like it depends on what you do. in general, if you discount the portable aspect, it seems like you could build/buy a better performing PC for the money. but obviously that PC isn't portable. and if it plays the games you like just fine than who cares?

The battery life is an issue, and I have portable solutions

Why the hell is it in WHITEFISH, MT after being shipped from IL? I would have thought they would fly it from CHI to SEA

I’m now watching performance videos instead of playing with a new toy
The deck vs series s comparisons are nice (considering it’s a handheld that’s got ALOT of support with regular updates)

It's on a train, not a plane. There's a major train line from CHI to SEA that goes right through Whitefish (Amtrak uses the same line, I've ridden it from PDX to Whitefish).

tonight’s goal get things set up and get a couple games running - then fuck around for a bit
Initial reaction: I’m impressed with the build

I need to dig in and start up scaling games a bit at some point, but I’m just having fun with it (as I should)
