Anyone have a patio heater they can recommend?  Don't care if its propane, wood, pellet, smokeless, etc ... this is for a outdoor carpeted screened in porch, so ventilation shouldn't be a problem.

this.  they make smaller ones that are 'table top' sizes as well.

nearly every one of these I've ever seen looks like it got tipped over and the reflector on the top is all misshapen.  watch out for wind I guess.

All I know about the tall, domed propane jobbies is that they use A LOT of propane.  My SIL and BIL got one and the kids thought it was cool so they had friends over and let this thing run and apparently they went through multiple propane tanks in a couple weeks.  If I used that much I would probably break down and get something wood-burning like a chiminea or something.

The idea is ridiculously inefficient. Literally just dumping heat into the air. And you can't even make s'mores or cook a hot dog.

How many people are you trying to keep warm? Those parabolic electric heaters will keep 2 people sitting close by pretty warm and are pretty efficient. Maybe a propane fire pit for ambiance.
