I know force carbing is probably the only thing people are doing nowadays.    But are any of you guys carbing in the keg with corn sugar still?

I usually carbonate in primary with a spunding valve.

What are you going to ferment in? Is it something that can hold pressure? The spunding valve wasn't very expensive if I remember correctly.

Okay, so no. I wouldn't hesitate to use sugar to carbonate in the serving keg. The only downside in my opinion is you either don't chill before kegging or you chill and then let it warm back up and then chill again.

i'm thinking about just bottling 1/3 and mini kegging the rest of a 5 gallon batch.

I saw a new thing that turns a growler into a swingtop.  that could make "bottling" even easier!

no concerns with those sploding?  not sure how they compare to actual bottles.

if it does, shit happens?   I'm not worried.  mark it up to a lesson learned.

my paranoia always put bottles in boxes and left them in the basement...then wear safety glasses when opening the first one

I bought an adapter that will make my regulator for my mini keg fit a soda stream bottle. Now I just need to find the barbed fitting to go from regulator to keg. Problem is they are metric and I’m probably going to have a hard time finding them.
