I only ever talked to her on the phone. But she gave my wife some good advice when she was pregnant with our oldest.  SWMBO was hyperthyroid while pregnant with both of our boys.  Julie gave her advice on foods and strategies that kept her from needing meds.  Very possibly kept her from having to go on meds for the rest of her life.

My deepest condolences to the family, I was always impressed at how hard she fought the myriad of diseases that afflicted her especially while successfully building the seed company and running a household. I can’t imagine the grief and loss.
