I got a Quest 2 for my son for Christmas. We've been playing Beat Saber. Super fun game.

I definitely want to try out one of the video service apps but I've been hooked on Beat Saber so far. There's a crazy amount of hand-eye coordination needed for the more difficult levels of the game. It's a fun challenge.

My oldest is a natural at beat saber. He's fun to watch. Are you casting to the tv so others can watch you play?

No, I didn't even know that was possible!
I just tried it on our TV and it was super laggy. I had to screen mirror from my iphone because the tv doesn't have chromecast. I'll need to find a better way to do it.

Yeah, i’m looking into options. I have a Fire TV stick, supposedly you can get a chromecast capable app. My TV is LG which doesn’t support CC.
I just got the 4k Google Chromecast dongle thingy to plug intoy LG tv

Anyone else have trouble with the headset losing tracking on the controllers? After about a week all of a sudden the headset would start to regularly lose track of the right controller when playing beat saber. It's made playing that game extremely frustrating because it always seems to crop up in the middle of a game. It doesn't seem to happen as much when my kids are playing, they haven't really complained about it at all, actually. They've been playing Superhot as well and it doesn't seem to happen in that game either. I changed the batteries in the controllers but that didn't do anything. Any tricks you guys have learned for solving this?

I actually bought a little IR lamp that sits in the corner and provides an extra source of light for the tracking cameras without being a visible light, it helped quite a bit with tracking.

You have to put electrical tape over the sensor in the center because it's only supposed to come on in the dark.

I’ll have to give it a try, beat saber is virtually unplayable as it is. I’m playing in an extremely well lit area, essentially surrounded by windows, so not sure if this is really the problem.
are you playing during the day or during the night?
I'm assuming this system uses a combination of gyro/accel and computer vision to track your head orientation.
