Ditto still going through a package of astras I bought 10 years ago with my vintage Gillette gold razor. The only thing I've switched is now I'm using nubian black soap instead of the TOBS sandalwood for the shave, follow up with 100% aloe gel instead of an aftershave, I hate scented stuff.

I am so tired of shaving, but its too fracking hot for a full beard.  I tend to use an electric razor with the shortest guard installed.  It leaves a fairly neat stubble behind, but no razor burn.

I only shave about once or twice a week so a basic electric shaver for me. I have one of the ones with three round heads. If I let it go too long I do a first pass with clippers.
