Since no one has started it yet, I will. Who’s brewing over the holiday break? I’m going to get some dry stout going, and I’m thinking of throwing my cream ale in the garage to “lager.” What does everyone else got going on?

I could whip something up using the S-04 yeast I have in the fridge but as of right now it's not in the works...

Does today count? I got an early jump on the T-Day brewing with a kind-of, sort-of Sam Adams Boston Lager kind-of-thing. Some 2-row, pils, Vienna, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops and Wyeast 2782 Staro-Prague lager yeast. Cheers!

I've been thinking about brewing Ken's MLPA on Saturday. I have everything in the recipe in stock except the 'right' yeast. I've got 3 packs of US05. I'm debating if I want to make the run to the LHBS or just roll with what I've got.

I am brewing on Friday with a friend of mine. We are brewing 10 gallons of Bohemian Pilsner. Its going to be Best Malz Pilsner with some Carapils. All Saaz Hops. I went to the LHBS in the attempt to get 2 smack packs of the 2782 Staro Prague but they only had one. So this beer will be one Staro Prague and one with 2278 Czech Pilsner. Starters are going on the stir plate tonight. Looking forward to this. My buddy has never brewed a lager before. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Prost.

I finished brewing Ken's red ale recipe a few hours ago. No plans for the rest of the holiday break, as I have no more room to ferment in my chest freezer since I did a DIPA on saturday, and am also fermenting a cider.

Like to do my Bo Pils, but.....Raining until Saturday.Lager fridge is full with Samiclaus.Second runnings just finishing up fermenting. The Ferminator is still finishing up 13 gal of Maudite.Just kegged second runnings of that last night.Ho-hum, and I haven't purchased yeast, let alone made a starter. The Samiclaus seconds are sitting on US-05 Which should be done soon.Might have to do something there, I'm thinking... :P How about a 25 gal batch of a Black Cat clone on Saturday or Monday I'm thinking, if the Maudite gets done.I need a mild.

brewed a Belgian Golden Ale yesterday, overshot my efficiency. Ooops. Guess I'll have to find a way to get rid of the extra alcohol.
