We get it now and then down here and I still enjoy it. It holds up imo.

UGH .. Jealous!

I ordered from Brewhardware on Tuesday ( they are in NJ) and I got a shipping notice from them yesterday but the address was TX.  I will not see that for a week or two the way the mail has been.

I ordered that new England ale yeast (2), us05 and s04, 10lb of avangard dark Munich and some lactic.

Thier prices are reasonable but the shipping on grain hurts a little. Basically I can get the same or slightly better price on small amounts from Jasper's in Nashua. I just need a reason to be out that way to make it worth while.

I finally used the Verdant. Initial tasting is very good. Will probably be a regular in rotation.

It is said to be like 1318 and I did get that softer a little more rounded hop flavor from the yeast.  It was hazy but that was more process and it had a good mouthfeel.  I think it is perfect for a NEIPA and will most likely work great in other styles.  I think I would be happy with this year and BRY-97 ( yes I poo pooed it before but tried it again and enjoyed it) would be good for most of my ale brewing.

I was just thinking of ordering a few more packages and do an all citra beer with it.

dry yeast is $4.50 locally but I should check around a little.  jasper's (where I buy castle malt) raised their grain prices about 20% since I last shopped there.  stings a little so I'm not sure I'll be using them for too much beyond my castle chocolate malt and maybe occasional yeast.

6.51 at Label Peelers and 3.89 at Rite Brew.  I will have to see what else I need and add it to an order.

Not even sure I have a local shop anymore.

I have another place to check but they don't have a website so unless I call ahead I never know what I'm getting into with them.
