... well actually I have to go to "North" Sioux City which is a few miles north in South Dakota .... thinking about taking SWMBO .... is there a decent hotel/casino nightlife for a Friday and Saturday night?  I see they have a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino but thought I might be missing a unknown gem .... looking for recommendations where we can eat, drink and be merry...... next month, March 2021.

They did have drive through liquor stores 15 years ago, though.

Its a 9 hour drive for us ... getting back in the car and driving 90 minutes to Omaha will be a non starter, lol

I remember that area of South Dakota was pretty flat and not a lot to see. We spent some time at the Standing Rock reservation on the Missouri river. That part of the state and further west is very pretty.

I have been in both restaurants and bars.  For the bar, my wife and I will go to our favorite local place when we know it will be empty.  We have had a few saturday afternoons, where we were the only people in the bar for a few hours.  The restaurants that we do go to are using social distancing and masks.  Not all bars and restaurants are on the table.  Just the few we know are responsible, and even then, it is a timing issue.  I probably wouldn't do a casino.  But I can't think of anything else to do in Sioux City, in the winter.

They have a nice theater (Orpheum) there, saw Brian Wilson a couple years ago. Drove in for the show, crashed at a Hampton Inn on points for free and left the next morning. Sorry I’m no help...
