You mean, you made a mutated variant.
Well played...

There should be a 14 day moderation queue for posts.

Calling it Corona virus is SO March 2020.

You have said this about the other long threads. But I have never once experienced that myself. Those threads, and the covid thread, always loaded perfectly fine for me.

We're continuing to see a sharp drop in cases since the New Year even though the vaccine rollout has been fairly bungled. Hopefully we can get enough ppl vaxxed before the next spike can take hold.

Expecting a massive spike next fall. But COVID has jumped my timelines before. I'm with you in hoping, but the cracks are already making themselves known.

Well, shit. My appointment for the second shot just got cancelled.
And replaced for another appointment two days earlier.

I seem to recall there is no upper limit on time between first and second doses, while the minimum is ... 17 days? Ideally 21? Might be fudging those numbers since im too not hammered to google it.

I was told 14 by the NM National Guard troop that gave me the shot. Two days earlier coincides with the 14 days.

14 is a number i also remember. More importantly, it sounds right based on the immune response profile. For them healthies, at least.

I experience a very definite delay when posts get really long as it has to chug through to get to the new posts. Last night, it was taking up to ten seconds to open the old Corona thread when all the others were pretty instant. Hence the new thread.

I have the same experience as noofus. I've never had individual threads load slowly. When ever I have slow loading issues it's for everything not just particular threads. I haven't noticed any slow loading problems recently.
Actually, I take that back, the GIF thread was an issue for me but not due to the thread size. GIFs seems to load slow on mobile regardless of thread size.
