It's been a while... like one batch 1.5 years ago... and the one before that was about the same time frame.  

 

I cleaned the kegs and fermenters today.  Crushed some grain.  Realized Tastybrew doesn't exist anymore ( this brought a tear to my eye.. )  Got on Brewgr.. and I have a recipe.  

 

American Amber fermented on S-04.  Bitter with Chinook, late additions of EKG and Cascade.  I'll update as the day goes on.

Well.. I didn't quite brew on the day I had planned.  Darn kids and birthdays.. I don't know why the wife thought that was a bad idea?!?!  LOL  At any rate, I'm working from home today and I'm mashed in and sitting at 149dF.  A little low but I'll take it.  I have a zoom meeting soon so the mash will end up to be 2 hours or so but I'm rolling with a low stress brew day.  Taking a Charlie P approach today.

The day went pretty well.  6 hours start to finish even with a hour zoom meeting in the middle.  I was shooting for 12 gallons in the buckets only got 11 and came up a few points short on the OG but I'll take it. Now its time to sit and wait...
