Yep! 1.065 OG... Smells delicious.

I figure I'll dump trub tomorrow or the next day and then harvest the yeast once it's all finished out.

Then I have some oak cubes soaking in bourbon which are supposed to go into "secondary". I think maybe I'll just keg it and put the bourbon/cubes in the keg and let it age a couple weeks while it carbonates so I can free up the fermenter for the scotch ale.

Did you use the SPUNDit for a pressurized fermentation? Curious, as I'm going to use mine for the first time in a day or two.

So, how did it turn out? I'm gonna try my first pressurized fermentation tomorrow in a 5 gallon corny.

First time using mine. First time doing a pressurized fermentation. Seems to have gone flawlessly. I would be gold but I realized my Tilt is in the keg! I guess I'll have to use the SPUNDit on a receiving keg to fetch it. Otherwise, I'd just serve from that keg.

Decided to do another batch today because work is annoying the crap out of me, so I snuck into the garage and am firing up the kettle for a scotch ale.

So, how did it turn out? I'm gonna try my first pressurized fermentation tomorrow in a 5 gallon corny.

Turned out good. Maybe finished a little high

How high have you been pressurizing your Fermzilla? Getting fully carbonated? Transferring to keg or serving from vessel?

On my first pressurized fermentation from a keg, I just served from the fermentation keg. On the 10 G Torpedo I have going now, I'll try my first transfer under pressure.

I've only done the one batch so far, kept it at about 10 PSI the whole time. Will do the same this time I think. I did not transfer under pressure, just to a purged keg. Will probably try that on this one though.

I just served right from the 5G corny on my first pressurized fermentation -psi was 15 (fully carbonated). I will transfer the one I'm doing now in the 10G Torpedo. Looks to be finished at 1.018. OG was 1.088.
