I have historically used the plastic storage tube for measuring gravity with my hydrometer.  I recently noticed the tube has a crack starting near one end so I assume at some point it's going to completely fail on me.  Is there something that I could acquire or use that would be good for this job?  I like the tube b/c it's only a little larger than the hydrometer so I don't have to pull more than two turkey basters worth of wort to get enough to make a measurement.
