what I really liked about the Speidel was no more autosiphon.

I don't mind a siphon but I will utilize the spigot on my Speidel when it arrives.

Mine too.  I will see how it works this weekend.

Downloaded the new Beersmith.  I'll give that a go too.

Has anyone bought one of the Anvil buckets? Those look really nice. I like the idea of stainless steel.

I got an SS Brewtech brewbucket fermenter for Father's Day.  It's the greatest.   Not sure how I got along so well without one...

That's a great feeling when the equipment is doing the job just right.

Alright, I've got the Spiedel, Anvil brewbucket, SS brew bucket to look at when I upgrade my fermenters. Anything else?

Spike Flex +, it is much more than the others but can be found for $300 on their scratch and dent site.  I like how it is good up to 15 PSI. But honestly if you do not have a fair amount of triclamp parts the Flex + will end up costing a lot more.  The regular Flex would be a better direction.

I've been using the Grainfather conicals and glycol chiller. Dunno if that's what you're looking for, but I love them.

Not so humble brag :P you’re right tho. Don’t skimp

The Speidel is now $3 cheaper from the same seller on eBay. Now $43.77 ($15 and $28.77 shipping). Hell, might get one more. Gets more likely with each Drunken Monkey I drink tonight!

Wish he had some 20L.  Don't think I need 2 30L.

I could use another for tomorrow. Want to do a tropical DIPA but I'd rather not use a carboy if I'm gonna dry hop in the fermenter.

Dry hopping in carboys is such a pain in the ass. I’d wager that you probably have more risk for oxidation too.

Agree 100%

I was in WV for a week a couple weeks back and my mom wanted to go to an antique store in town. They had 5-6 glass carboys for sale ranging from $140-$180 lol

I make cyser occasionally, so can't see getting rid of mine. I let it sit in primary at least a year. Once my next keg of beer kicks I need to keg one that's been sitting for I think three years. Then I can get another batch going this fall.
