30 days. Shes a PA. Good pay, but its kind of scary. She's got a 30 day contract and tons of OT coming. 84 hours a week. Gonna be a boon financially but I'm still really nervous. She gets 2 weeks of quarantine pay as well after. She's going to aim for 60 days, but we'll see how it goes.

Wasn't something similar considered back in April? Did she ever go back then?

a HS friend who is an RN did the same back in April in NYC, 6 days a week 12 hours a day in full PPE in a covid ward in Harlem

She came through fine, TPW will do fine as well, they are pros!

I think I posted in the other thread but my cousin’s friend who is a PA got a similar gig in NYC (she’s from NC) that was for a month. 60 hour weeks @ $150/hr. Not bad at all

wishing her the best.   Former PA here went to new york for a month.  She was pulling like 10k per week.

My father-in-law has to pull a shift in the covid wing at his hospital.  He said it actually feels safer because you know for  fact that the patients have covid and you have access to all of the best PPE.   Whereas when he's doing rounds in the regular rooms, you have no idea about the people that are going or coming.

Wife has been in and out of covid facilities since the onset. With the right PPE and adherence to protocols, she should be fine.

Trust no one in a healthcare setting, plenty of people test positive and don't show symptoms, which still puts them on the floor.

Covid Russian Roulette?

I meant that no symptoms doesn't excuse them from work for some employers.
