Ford releases the new Bronco at 8:00 PM.

They are aiming square at the Jeep Wrangler. It will be interesting to see what the MSRP will be and the build out quality. I'll keep an eye on it as I look for my retirement car/truck.

everything I've been reading about it, so far, has some really cool shit on it.

It would only make sense for me if it has a decent towing capacity.

I've heard the power train is from the current Ranger - EcoBoost V6 so, you may be able to take your number from there.

Watching as well.

I finally saw a new Ranger in person recently, did a doubletake, I thought it was a Colorado 'til I saw the blue oval.

I would think so as well. That would still bring it in under the top end Jeep. The High Altitude edition Jeep Wrangler starts at 50 grand.

only power i've heard is on the bronco sport (the small one) and its got the I-4 ecoboost, like 2.3L.  hopefully it has the 2.7L, that's proving out to be a solid motor in the f150's.

Ah! So it should more accurately be called the new bronco II.

My dad and I both had B2s. We rebuilt his from a salvage roll-over. Mine wasn't previously wrecked. He had his for about 8 years, and I had mine for 3 years. I sold mine to a family friend who rolled it 6 months later. My dad sold his to a random dude that lived nearby and he saw it upside down in a ditch a year later.

Jeep is trying to rain on the parade a bit. Dropped a concept Wrangler with the 6.4l 392 V8 today. Not sure if it will make production, crash tests have been problematic for V8 prototypes in the past. Cost could also be an issue.

Jeep also is offering a turbo diesel on the Gladiator.

They are already discounting the Gladiator. As much as I like the idea fo that truck, it's ass ugly from any angle.

If they came out with a Scrambler, they might be onto something.

I always wanted one of those early 80's Scramblers.
