Sold an aquarium and stand I had before we got married. Got $300 for it. Bought a guitar for $300. My wife is all pissed at me "you don't need another guitar!" and shit. Feck her! It's my scratch to spend HTF I want, Amiright?

It's a Harley Benton HB-35 Plus in Lemon Burst. It's fecking gorgeous!

My mom asks why I need so many guitars since I can only play one at the time

I reply by asking her how many pairs of shoes she has

I am a shit guitar player, and even I know I need multiple guitars!  My wife is giving me a bit of a side-eye about possibly buying more as she doesn't understand the differences, but she won't really complain.

I'm mostly still learning but having fun with it... and part of having fun is having fancy gear :D

Since I’m not in a band currently, it does seem ridiculous that I have so many. Especially my electrics

But I don’t want to part with any

Damn sweet guitar. You'll get plenty of time to practice while your not banging your wife!

I just don't understand more than one banjo...

I have three of those, even though I suck at it.

One is a full-fledged bluegrass style banjo with a heavy resonator.  One is a cheap one I bought to start with.  And the third is a old-time style without a resonator.

It's like having more than one set of bagpipes...

I have way more guitars than I need, but they really don't take up too much space. It's the amps that are really burning up the real estate. :smoke:

A banjo is what started my vintage guitar obsession. When we where clearing out my wife's grandmother's house, i found a mandolin banjo on top of a heat duct in the basement. Ended up taking it to the local guitar repair shop to find out what it is and get it set up. It's been all down hill from there.

I believe I currently have eight.

Four acoustics and four electrics (all telecasters)

I only have 1 banjo, but I also have a guitar, 2 fiddles and a mandolin.

I have another Banjo, but he's my brain damaged meth-head cousin.

I've always called those banjolins

Could be a good name for it. It’s a Concertone from the mid twenties.
