Lowe's is only 15% off.  I seem to remember bigger sales than this....

Yeah, I noticed this the last Holiday weekend too.  Lowes is cheaper than HD.  I may pick up a few bags but I have a pretty good supply in the garage

Don't know about Lowe's but HD announced earlier this year that due to covid they canceled all the special sales. No spring black Friday, no memorial day sale, no 4th of July sale, etc.

No Kingsford sale here but HD has Embers (a Royal Oak brand) at 2 bags for $10.  Website says low stock at all stores, so I guess it sold out quickly.

So Kingsford and “Big Meat” are running a conspiracy? What about “Big Propane”? Are they in for a cut of the action, or just ALCOA for providing tinfoil hats...? Dude they don’t care, it’s a business :)

I got two bags for $9 at Lowes last week.

And then left one bag in the rain.

I'm not even cooking outside this year. I'm boycotting the grill until I agree to buy myself a new deck

I've been using the Royal Oak Natural Hardwood briquettes. $8ish per bag. I think its made from the smaller bits from their natural lump. Burns super hot and no fillers. Im hooked on this stuff.

These 100% All-Natural Hardwood briquets provide a bold, smoky flavor that your family will love. Burns hotter, cleaner or longer than traditional charcoal Briquettes. Made without fillers or chemicals, you can have confidence that when you grill using Royal Oak, you’re getting the natural flavor of American Hardwood.

I've considered making the switch to royal oak a few times but it hasn't happened yet.  I'm a little concerned with the consistency and if I'll be fighting with my vents to keep the temp the same.

Publix had a sale on Cowboy lump. I think it was 9.99 for a 18# bag. That's pretty good.
