I made a slightly modified version of Ken Lenard's Memory Lapse Pale Ale on Saturday and also this is my first time using a PET better bottle. I REALLY like the bottle being a lot lighter and no-risk of shattering, however I moved it last night and I guess I had squeezed it a little and when I took my hands off the bottle was sucking back in through the airlock and some iodophor sanitizer ended up in the beer from the airlock.Do you guys see any problem with that? I don't think there is going to be a problem as it still smells like good beer right now, so it is mostly curiosity.

And here I thought it was totally ruined and that I would have to send it to you for proper disposal. :)

No problems at all.For PET bottles, you'll want to use a S-type airlock because it won't suck as easily. Also, it's usually easier to just take take the stopper out when you move the thing.

Awesome.. I am really hoping that everything goes well with these better bottles as I am really not digging the glass any more. Especially after see'ing someone who's hand was all jacked up form his tendons being sliced when a carboy broke on him.
