I bought a $20 cordless drill there that lasted 6 months. Replaced it with a DeWalt.

Honestly what did you expect from a $20 cordless drill?

I'm headed to HF this morning. I'll make sure not to buy any jack stands.

I have the 3 ton heavy duty not the regular 3 ton that were recalled. i assume that the model I have were also looked at during the recall evaluation. It somewhat gives me more confidence

The last time I was there, I wouldn't have called them a discount store...

I like some Horror Freight stuff. But nothing that spins over 12,000 rpm or anything like a jack stand that I would rely on for staying alive

I buy their cut off wheel discs and flapper wheels, just bought some today actually. They have worked fine.

It's weird they have some for $1 and others are over $4, only the grit is different it seems.

I just got their 2 HP dust collector for the home shop. It looks like it is the exact same as other brands, just a lot cheaper. The airflow is definitely not what it is rated at, but it is still very good for my home shop.

That’s one thing I disagree on.
Their abrasive disks and such suck ass.
I will spend 3x for 5x the life just so I’m not constantly changing the GD things.....
But I buy in bulk at a local welding supply too with a commercial acct which takes the sting out. Plus I write it all off.

Aluminum clogs shit so these are cheap and I got way more life from a 36grit 4.5” $1 dusk than I expected.

Other materials I would buy better.

I must be thinking of without the coupon.

I've never used them on mower blades. I was using one earlier today to prep some metal for welding. Lots of paint and rust. Had no problems and plenty of life left.

I needed to replace the garbage disposal I was struggling with lifting it and locking it into place. I broke out the 3 ton low profile Pittsburgh floor jack. It made the job easy. The wife did question why I had a 100lb Jack in the kitchen cabinet, till she saw it work.

Harbor freight didn't kill me this weekend
