Right.  The first half was trying to cram some mediocre historical fiction into a hip hop context.  For someone who likes hip hop, I can see enjoying the creativity.  I didn't.  The second half was more of the same, but with more interesting lyrics and characters.

what was so fictitious about the historical representation?

We enjoyed it. We have tickets to see the show live at the Fox Theater.

Don't know when that's gonna happen...

I guess I'm uncool and out of touch. I have zero desire to see it.

I enjoy musicals almost all of the time.  When I watch one it's for entertainment and escapism.  This sounds like neither - no thanks

For what it's worth, musicals aren't really my thing.

Way to deny, Sailor! We know you’ve got the soundtrack, the wig... the funny outfit. You love all musicals...Remember when you used to wander Beaver Island with a broken plate on you face telling everyone to refer to you as “The Phantom of the Opera..”?

Don’t even get me going on Cats :troll:

We just started it

I've been watching Hamilton's Pharmacopia on Hulu. It's pretty interesting. :)

Yeah that’s a great show. I hope he does a new season soon
