so probably took 3 days to really get going and even after that it was pretty slow to get going hard. although part of that may have been a leak in my setup that was causing the airlock not to bubble as hard as I'm used to.

I almost did it. good news is that it's going at a good clip now based on how quickly the spunding valve is blowing off. I'm letting a natural temp rise happen right now and it's in the upper 50s (still in the optimal temp range for this yeast). pretty soon I might have to force the temp up to keep it going on my accelerated maturation schedule.
