We are considered essential, seeing we control the transmission grid, but 90% of the staff is working from home and only operators are on site.

I am. Just had a discussion with the ex wife. She is work from home during this. She thinks the kids should stay with her as long as I continue to go to the office. Cant say I disagree but this will suck.

I'm literally not allowed to. My office is attached to a manufacturing facility that runs 24/7 and is what pays most of the bills... they've locked the entire compound down to a single guarded entrance. If you work in the fab, they'll scan your temperature and security will let you in. If you don't, they will send your ass home.

I work from home.  One employee is still coming in.  She has been basically quarantining herself anyway.  She goes to see her grandparents, her mom, home, here, and then to get groceries.  She's the closest thing to a sister I've ever had.  We are so similar it is frightening.  She's been hunting for our common ancestor to explain it.  She lives like we do, grows most of her food, never goes anywhere but her farm and here.

The other good friend and employee is going to be doing customer service from home.  Handling all the backorder and substitution problems that arise.  I think this might just work.

I love these two women.  Best friends you could ever have.  They have my back and I have theirs.

Yes, but I can't imagine for much longer. Most of our customers are racing related so not many orders there. We have a few things going but won't last long. I have been worried about our company even before coronavirus. I have a feeling I will be unemployed soon.

I'm literally not allowed to.

Same. If you want entry into the building, you have to call in advance and get pre-clearance. Otherwise, you'll have to have unpleasant conversations with people you don't want to

Does not follow.

I know it's not a quarantine.  But she avoids everyone but her mom and grandma.  She also avoids the grocery store.  Like tries to go once a month or less.  Grandma lives in the country and avoids everyone too.  Total hermit type of people.

I'm remote but essential. We just got the notice that the office is closed until at least April 13.
