The game is simple.  How long can you go without being within 6 feet of someone outside your household...GO!

My last non-household personal interaction was with the beer store clerk, 3:30pm Monday.

Monday afternoon, around 4:30 PM, my boss stopped by my cubicle and said I could work from home if I wanted to. (It was announced later that evening that the office was closed for cleaning for 2 days.)

My kids will likely be home for the rest of the school year. My students will learn online for the rest of the semester. These inconveniences are small relative to the sacrifices that others are facing. People are already becoming severely ill. People are losing their jobs.

I am not a supporter of the current administration, but I think this decision has been made because experts think it is the best available option. I will do my small part to help society here. My family will do its part. We will do our best to follow the recommendations of the CDC and local health agencies. And we will do our best to help those that have been dramatically impacted.

Thursday was my last interaction with anybody outside my house.  I've been quarantining the mail for three days before touching it.  I've been spraying any Amazon deliveries with Lysol, and letting everything sit for as long as possible.  I'll break that level of safety tomorrow with a grocery delivery, but I'll still let all non-perishables sit for a 3 days before touching them, and do a lot of washing of everything else.  I avoided ordering anything frozen for ease of washing.

I spent time in Singapore during the first SARS, and that has informed some of my precautions this time.
