It's having seizures like three times a day now. She starts flopping violently all over the floor like a jack thrown out the window on the highway. It's both funny and pathetic. Might finally be rid of this thing soon.

She comes out of it like "what the feck just happened?" and then falls over sideways at least once before giving me a dirty look.

Honestly, if they were always this entertaining, and didn't piss in the house, I'd consider getting another one just to keep in the closet for parties.

I'd crack open the skull and see if there isn't something I can tighten with a wrench.

Vibes tho, I'm sure the family is unsettled by the extra cat hair on the carpets.

A catless house has been glorious. Even if you keep up with the liter box....they still create an odor I notice walking in. Since ours finally gave up his 15 years, there is no odor at all. I will fight to the death to keep another from coming home.

Well that's part of the problem, way too small.

But yeah, we will be catless relatively soon, never again.

Reminds me of Hannibal, just swap out the wrench for a fork.

is this the same cat you’ve had for years?

i actually got guilted into walking a dog twice this weekend to help a friend very last minute; he is a sweet old pup, deaf as hell... it was fun for about 10 minutes before it’s clear that having a pet is really just another gd chore.

That sucks.  My 16 year old cat recently started developing this bizarre growth on his back near his tail.  I suspect it's a giant tumor.  Gotta take him in this week to find out.

You guys are really bringing my celebration thread down.

My little sister had a cat.  I hated it. Really hated it.  This is important - my parents had shag carpeting then.  Well, I'm standing in the kitchen, wearing shorts and eating some cereal before going to swim team practice at about 5 in the morning.

The cat decides to launch and dig into my leg with all of its claws.  That's not really something one expects at that hour of the morning.    It suddenly found itself flying through the air with all its claws extended and landed on.....  The shag carpet.  It didn't really walk right after that.  The local german sheperd that terrorized all the kids had it for lunch before I got home from practice.

Feel better now?
