Gentleman in his 60's walks in to our small town ER earlier this week complaining of eye problems. Ball cap on, pulled down to his eyeballs. The doctor goes in and asks what going on with his eyes. He removes his cap. The entirety of his forehead, soft tissue, bone, everything including the superior half of each orbital is completely gone. His frontal lobe is exposed and has been for a while.
Diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma on his forehead 8 years ago. He's a recluse living out in the woods. Refused further care, never followed up, didn't think he would make it this long. Mets apparently everywhere.
I'm working on a getting the pic.
