The heavy stuff came through here a while ago.
I heard what may have been the loudest clap of thunder in my life... sounded literally like a bomb went off!

Sitting at 19 right now. Supposed to get up to 29. Based on the news this morning, we won't get hit very hard by any of the systems bringing snow to the MidWest. Fine by me!

We had some shovelable snow overnight but not much. We had two decent days Sunday and Monday (sun and around 50°) which were truly mental health days. Then it was back to gray and cold. We're supposed to fly early on Saturday morning so it would be nice if things calmed down.

Yesterday I drove to work with the sun in my eyes for the first time this year. It was kind of nice.
This morning, 13 wind chill and snowing.

Huh... we had nothing overnight.
This is usually the point in the year where I will start worrying about the farmers having enough snow melt working into the ground for their crops.

A lot of times it sweeps across from the west and you get it first. This one came up like a giant pernis from the south. Still some flurries here but just about done.

I posted this once before but years ago I was brewing in the winter and I went out to the spigot and there was a small leak. The water dripped out and froze in this shape. I give you... the ice dildo.
