Our security guards cannot leave for lunch. It's become a bit of a joke that they hassle us as we leave for our lunch breaks.

Today as I was returning my boss was leaving and the guard says to him, "Don't forget my lunch, now. I'll take whatever you're having and a Diet Coke."

I thought about it as I was walking in to my desk and I can't think of anything somebody could bring me in that situation that I wouldn't eat. Sure, I have preferences at different restaurants but nothing is definitely out.

What about you?

Pineapple pizza

Pretty much this, because even if you can flick every bit of those hot boogers off the slice they've permeated.

Portabello anything. Not sure if that's a fast food item but yuck.

Fried portabello strips are actually pretty good. But the "burgers" that use a whole cap are definitely too much. Leave that for mic.

There's one place in town I'll eat chicken livers from. Couldn't do hearts. I think of those as bar food, which I guess is nutritionally the same as fast food, but more expensive. :D

Fried chicken livers and hearts.

Nope.

livers yes, they suck, same goes for any liver.  hearts are ok though, but never had them fried, only wood fire roasted in brazil.  taste of chicken, texture of med-well beef, some real cognitive dissonance there.

Don't get to far afield. Chicken offal ARE still available at most KFCs, so they're in bounds. AND I probably wouldn't eat them, so the thread has been won in a way.

But there isn't any fast food place serving fried pig balls.

It's a Southern thing for sure.

Church's Fried chicken had them on the menu. The local Big Chik and King's Fried Chicken all have heart, livers and gizzards on the menu.

Growing up in the South, people eat every available part of the animal. On a pig, the only thing they didn't eat was the "Oink". You can still get buckets of chitlins at the local Kroger.

I had turkey liver for lunch today.

Now, I couldn’t eat anything. Back when I did, I wouldn’t eat anything with mustard on it.

Pioneer Chicken carried livers, gizzards, and hearts... all deep fried and wonderful.. KFC doesn’t do that here...

I don’t like fried zucchini
