just ordered the room and plane tickets. the GF had a surprisingly good time in RI last year (keep in mind she found stuff to keep her entertained during the day while i attended talks and the convention floor, but came back in the evening for the beer). great time had by us and our small group who went. most of the group who went last year are going this year. Nashville isn't terribly far from us by plane, and its both a town we never been. She talked me into going again this year; so, i caved. 

 

anyone else plan on going for 2020?

Must say I'm batting this one back and forth.  I'd like to go.

If I did not go to RI I just do not see myself making it to one.  Sad but true.  With that said, Nashville does intrigue me though.  It would be a nice getaway for me and my wife and parlay that into a mini vacation but still a pipe dream at this point.

I'm thinking similar.  I drive up for the couple days and have the wife and son fly up.  Then we explore Nashville and work our way back down.

If I become a TN resident by then: yup. It's only a few hundred miles west. OTOH it's quite a trip from Balmer.
