Having only used the 14 I can only endorse that. It is a solid product with a lot of usable space on top.

just places my order for the sp10. i liked the wind guard and the slightly cheaper price. after reading about 100 reviews on both it seems they are both really great burners.

The Burner that is on the SP10 will do just fine. We have those Burners on our Brutus Stand with Keggles anda 20G Blichman Boil kettle and it's perfect.the other one SQ14 is the Mother of all Burners. it sounds like a Jet engine and eats LP like nothing .a Bit over Kill unless you are doing a Crab Boil.Enjoy. be causious of the amount of space on the burner stand. we had not much extra room with the keggles.

Yes. but it sounds way cooler when running wide open. :smilielol: when we buit Brutus stand we wanted all 3 burners to match.the other one was just flat out over kill and to big and heavy for the Brew stand.so we left it the way it was intended to be.and went with the smaller burners.

I brewed with a 175,000 btu jet burner for years. It's way overkill. It heats the strike water up hella fast, though.
