FYI nice blade steel for a low cost, $60 minus a $20 credit if you are opening a new account and click the link in that email they send you. Figured a few of you like decent blades.

Great price for that knife. I was in on the original drop and love it. WE does a great job on these. I may grab a second.

Is love one, but I can't justify it at Christmas. I already have a spyderco with that steel.

Ordered one. I like my RAT 2 so much I feel like I'm cheating on it
But this one appears to have much nicer construction.

I like this one better than the Native 5. The profile and size is much better for edc imo. Plus you can never have too many knives!

I have a skinner blade in this steel and it holds up solid on animals and with the belt sander sharpener gets shaving sharp fairly easily again.

Watched a couple reviews and seems like they think it's a good deal at 80 bucks. $40 seems like a no brainer. If nothing else a good gift to ask for.

I went with the green handle.

Anybody else order this knife? They keep pushing the ship date out. Not sure if they are reliable or not (never heard of drop.com before this thread).

LOL .. welcome to Drop ( or Massdrop as they were known).  You will get it, I have 3 or 4 knives from them including this one.  They are some of the slowest shipping people on the planet from my experience.  It is worth the wait tho.  This one gets carried a couple times a month, really a nice knife.

I didn’t originally realize they were shipping slow boat from overseas, I had originally thought drop already had them state side. Oh well in the long run will be nice just an unexpected shipping duration

OK cool. I'm excited about the knife so less patient about the shipping time lol.

I didn't realize that either. Plus it said something in there about it shipping the day after the purchase.

Yep, I got the shipping notice and realized it was from China. Will be a surprise when it finally shows up.

Oh it “shipped” day after... lol. Ah well a $40 S35VN blade at the end of the day I’ll wait, didn’t need immediately anyways just interested to check it out.

I'm far from heated over it, more like wtf is going on? Although I'm sure this is a far better knife than my RAT 2,I legit love the rat. So unsexy, but totally functional. How I hope all my exes describe me.

The fit and finish is much better that the RAT and that blade steel is a huge upgrade over AUS 8. The RAT 1&2 really are great knives tho,i keep keep one in the glove box just in case.

Kershaw skylines are a nice simple knife as well with a bit better step than aus 8, I have a couple of those.

I have a rat 2 in D2 tool steel and carbon fiber scales that I love. S35 is better steel, but do love my rat. It actually replaced my Kershaw blue in s30v as my EDC.
