Yeah - late to the game......  I bought some Cascade and Mosaic with the thought of using them for dry hopping.  Any thoughts?

Dryhoping is where they shine. I think the rule of thumb was to mix with pellets of the same variety... 2:1 pellet to cryo.

Why is that?

Why is that?

Pretty sure that's what the manufacturer of cryo recommend. I have the pdfs and will look for them tomorrow.

Of course now I am wondering if I am thinking of luplin powder that came out right before cryo.

Hmm. I thought Cryo was like a more intense replacement for pellets. I've never used them though, so I have no idea. I was just wondering.

Thanks!

My mind has to be going ... I was wrong on this one!

Cryo hops offer 2 times the resin of regular pellets and are dosed at 1/2 the weight - the perfect addition to any juicy, resinous, hop-forward recipe.

Cryo hops are fantastic. More intense character, better yields. Kind of a waste in the boil. WP and dry hop is where they are best

Cryo is no longer sold as a powder, so no need to mix it with pellets to get it to drop.

I recommend ignoring that and using them in the same amount as T90.

I use cryo or it's other half, American nobles, in almost every beer I make lately.

Damn... No way I could afford them for every beer.
