was talking with my brother the other day, he's wanting to get back into brewing after he relocates to memphis after the first of the year, but wants to do it right. He wants to just buy a brew rig capable of 10gal batches, or at least if he wants to expand to that down the road. I dont think he wants to spend the time building one by hand. so does anyone have a decent option for him?? I think he has a dual purpose for this, beer and distillers beer, just sayin. obviously this will depend on his home and whether or not he has appropriate accommodations and etc.
pretty sure he doesn't have a $6000 system in mind, but I think he'd drop a couple G if needed since he's basically starting from scratch. a horizontal system would probably be better as he has similar back issues that I do. I dont know if he'd want to go gas or electric, I suspect electric would be far easier for him but i dont know for sure what his next house will look like.

I know, probably not enough info right now. I think he's gonna take care of the family alcohol needs and I'm going to be getting the big smoke rig for our BBQ needs.
