[Poptop]

The Feb/Mar edition of Craft Beer and Brewing had a cool article on light ales such as Cream, Golden, Blonde, Kolsch et al.  It inspired this creation I hope to brew Sunday morning.  Looking for an easy pounder.  Cheers!

the beer will be delicious but is 6.4 SRM still considered blonde?  I guess it could be the top end perhaps?  I'm no style nazi though so brew on and drink up

My blonde wife actually has brown hair   I guess I can always called it Golden Ale hahaha

Dirty Blonde!  I would still drink it.

It will be great.  I have one lined up too... in its current form it's Golden Promise, Wheat and CaraVienne along with Northern Brewer to bitter and then finished with Ella.  1099 on the yeast.  It will be cloudy.

Yes, I'm just craving a very simple ale.  I also want the cake to make an American Strong so there's that.

I think I have a blonde, a standard pale ale with some late Cascade, an Amber and MLPA lined up and if there are more batches... that Aztec Brown Ale.

This one sounds tasty, as does the Aztec Brown! I'm kind of ready to try some light but tasty beers. I made a pale with that new omega Gulo and it was...ok. Strangely smokey but still pretty decent. I'm going to use the cake to make something light to fully taste what the yeast can offer, so this might be a good candidate.
