Went to a place just outside Fredericksburg a couple of weeks ago on the way home from a race in Kerrville.     Altstadt.   Totally legit German beers with quite a lineup.     Beers were spot on and the food was great too.  First brewery I'd been to in a while and was completely satisfied.

Mmm, so about 90 minutes west of Austin?  Interesting. My next planned trip is in May for my son's graduation but it's always possible that there will be another time since my daughter is down there too.  Thanks for the alert and it sounds like my kind of place.  Cheers Pete.

90 minutes is like next door in Texas. I want these beers too! I make a large mix of lagers compared to most places around here. It’s a shame more brewers don’t have that opportunity
