We always have a few people trying to lose weight around here and I need some motivation.  $$ to enter.  I'm willing to discuss the entry fee.  I wouldn't want to go less than $50.  Skin in the game.

Phase 1, 6 months:  Weight loss.  Highest % loss gets 25% of prize money

Phase 2, 6 months:  Maintain.  Top 3 weight loss winners battle to see who can maintain.  Everyone who stays below their 6 month weight splits the remaining prize money pot.

Who's up for it?

this would have been good for me a couple of years ago but I don't think I can lose much even percentage wise.  I'll be glad to give tips having recently done this though.

I’m down to 206 from 260. I don’t have enough to lose to really compete here. Good luck to everyone who enters!

I could lose weight, but it'd be skeleton and organs at this point.

However, i'd be happy to workout with you guys.

Would consider. I got to 194 months ago. Put about 15 of that back on. Still about 25-30 down from my heaviest though.

That's pretty much what I want to do.  I'm a little under 260 right now, looking to maintain around 205.  185 would be a reach goal but very difficult to achieve.  I've gotten to 195 before and it was damn hard to get there.

I’d like to lose a little more, 185 I’d be a twig. 195-200 would be doable, but I don’t work out other than the thousands and thousands of steps I get at work. I also do some curls and above the head presses I do with kegs when I clean them.

I wish I could get down to 185. I always level off at 205. My only troubled area is the spare tire.

Anyone know how to get rid of that fecking thing? I think I am currently 215.

I might be in.... after the holidays. October through December is a terrible time to lose weight.

I’ll toss my hat in the ring. I’ve got plenty to lose. Was around 285 then divorce and stress shit ballooned me up to around 330 so I was looking at doing something anyway. 225 would probably be my year out goal and I could live with that at 6’4 or thereabouts

Money doesn't motivate me to lose weight. I let a gym membership go on for like 2 years when I didn't use it. Luckily it was a cheap one.

I started mid March and am down 20# as of 9/18. I got some ink to celebrate and motivate me to keep going and keep it off.

Same here (in terms of motivation.)

I feel like the only thing that really would motivate me is health concerns, and unfortunately (I guess), every time I have a physical the doctor says I'm as healthy as someone 5+ years younger. So I feel like it's gonna take an actual health scare to really make it matter to me

I want to lose weight and I've been slowly changing my habits but the one that's going to be hard is alcohol

I'd be in for more of a fitness challenge. Need something to motivate me.

I'd drop a little weight, but most likely I'd just put on muscle and even it out. I'm 185 at 5'11... Just soft

I think I’m disqualified by starting in March.
