Small Change (Somerville, MA; contract brewed Manchester, NH) is marketing a Dark Mild!  I can't believe it.  3.1% ABV, caramel and chocolate goodness.  This is a great winter pounder, too bad it's $13/4pk.  Can't pound too many or you'll go broke!   :P

Par for the course nowadays.  Used to be they'd only charge a big premium for the big beers but its all kind of leveled out to about the same price.  Their profitability on that dark mild has to be through the roof.

Can't go wrong with this recipe, either. Mutiple gold-medal-winner for me.

Do you use the invert sugar and the coloring?
