Well, a bit late for that - 66 next month -  but..........  My mom's birthday today and drewseslu.  Kind of cool first grandkid and grandma share a B-Day.  Another conversation I ended early when I called mom.  Neither parent is ageing worth a shit.  That is not a road I want to go down.  I need to start taking worse care of myself..............

Consider yourself lucky to have made it to 66 before your parents started crapping out on you ;)

Hopefully I got those genes from my dad's side. His grandmother lived to be 104.

Thanks, but I don't want the life they have now.

Your view is kinda where I am. And I'm only 39.

My grandpa was kept alive by a CPAP, that sucked bad. My paternal grandmother was kept my paternal grandfather in that he didn't want to die first, so he treated her cancer so his would get there first. FML. Two in three months.

I wanna see my kids be successful and happy in life. A few grandkids, but all of them aren't necessary. Get me there with a widow maker and it'd be hard to argue with whatever is on the other side.

My dad was 65 when he died. DJ, it's too young. You have so much to give that you can't even imagine. I wish every day that he was still here.

I turn 60 this week and will be doing a bicycle century ride in 3 weeks as a milestone event. I thought I'd be in better shape riding 100 mile weeks since the spring but age is taking its toll. I'm committed to really start fighting it.

Talked with my grandmother today. She’s 98. She’s been waiting to die for 24.5 years...

I feel bad for her.

My pops is 77, he’s living a great life and loving it.

I hope I follow in my father’s footsteps on this one

My mom lives in a senior living place. Every time someone turns 100 they have them give a speech. Without fail that advice is don't live to 100.
