Thunder and lightning but no wind and no rain.  Seems like a nothingburger.

Doubt it. We don't even have a watch, we have decent stars out. Way north we see thunder clouds lighting up from lightning far away.

We were at choir practice and the sirens started going off.  The kids were at home 5 miles away but in a different county - no sirens.  I wasn't sure where the storm was or the situation at home so I told them to get in the basement until we learned more.  The girls did as they were told, the boy decided to ride the lightning.

Everything's fine, the storm was much lighter at home than it was east of us.

I have rarely seen radar where the entire state is covered in red.

No sirens here, but plenty of lightning.

It blew pretty hard here for about 30 minutes and then nothing. I heard the actual rotation was up Northwest of here.

Ended up being a long line of thunderstorms last night with a metric ass-ton of rain. Poured like crazy. When we get rain I will go out to the she-shed to see if my leak-prevention measures work (it occasionally lets a bit of water in). So I went out there when it started to drizzle and I had a flashlight, my phone and a beer. Then it started to pour. I was stuck out there for about 40 minutes starting at about 11:15. :D
